Marlene Kramer

Rest in Peace

It is with great sadness that we learned last night (22nd February 2017) of the death of our colleague and friend, Marlene Kramer, after a long illness.

The entire St Andrew’s community of Board members, staff, pupils, past pupils and parents extends its heartfelt sympathy to Marlene’s husband, Joseph, to Emily and Zara and her wider family. Our thoughts and prayers are with them at this difficult time.

The arrangements for Marlene's funeral are as follows: her remains will repose on Saturday afternoon, February 25th from 2pm-3.30pm in Carnegies Funeral Home, The Crescent, Monkstown.

A humanist ceremony to celebrate Marlene’s life will take place on Monday afternoon, February 27th at 3.30pm in The Victorian Chapel at Mount Jerome Crematorium.

As a mark of respect to Marlene and her family, St Andrew’s College Junior School will close at 1pm on Monday 27th February.

Sixth Year Students who wish to attend the ceremony in Mount Jerome will be able to sit their Home Eonomics examination at a later date.
