As Headmistress of St Andrew’s College, it is my pleasure to welcome you to our website and I hope you will get to know our school through the many informative pages available to you on the site.
Our school community numbers over 1,300 students, teachers and support staff, drawn from Ireland and 40 other countries. There is a distinctly international atmosphere in the school and, since 1984, we have been accredited by both the Council of International Schools and the New England Association of Schools and Colleges.
Our broad range of pupil backgrounds encourages tolerance, understanding and an appreciation of others. We place great store by the concepts of service and the importance of community. If you are interested in St Andrew’s College for your child/children, please review the information below.
Please complete the application form and return it to the college office via email along with copies of your child’s three most recent school reports.
Once returned to us your child’s name will be added to our waiting list and a receipt letter will be emailed to you.
Senior School – First Year
Please note that places have now been allocated for first year commencing in August 2020, 2021 and 2022.
Senior School Admissions Policy - First Year 2023 and beyond
In compliance with the requirements of the Education (Admission to Schools) Act 2018, St Andrew’s College will no longer be able to hold names of students on file for First Year.
The Board of Governors will publish the Admission Policy to be used for 2023 and beyond by 15th September 2020. Applications forms for 1st year 2023/2024 will be available on our website on 3rd October 2022 and ALL applications must be completed and returned to St Andrew’s College by 14th October 2022.
The window for applications for other years is as follows:

Senior School – Second to Sixth Year
If you are applying for a place in second to sixth year for August 2020, please complete the appropriate senior school application form below and return it to the college office via email along with copies of your child’s three most recent school reports and exam results.
Please note that for some age groups, places becoming available for August 2020 will depend on movement from current students and other families already on our waiting lists. Due to the movement of international students from time to time, additional places do become available but it is impossible to predict how many, in which years or when these places will arise.
Please note that our new school policies now supersede all previous policies.
