Bank of Ireland Junk Kouture Competition
St Andrew's girls need your VOTES!
Three Transition Year Students, Aoife McGuire, Rebecca Boles and Melissa Dier, have reached the Regional Finals of the Bank of Ireland Junk Kouture Competition with their entry Fallen Petals. This is a national contest that encourages young designers in second level education to create designs and works of wearable art from everyday junk that would normally make its way into the bin. To progress in the competition the girls need you to vote for them. The public’s votes are worth 10% of their overall score. Voting opens (on Facebook) at 9am on Monday 20 February and remains open until midnight on Friday 24 February.
Here’s how you can help:
- Log onto Facebook (after 9am on Monday 20 February)
- Go into BOIstudents Facebook page
- Find the link for voting
- Select the Eastern Region
- Scroll until you find ‘FALLEN PETALS’
