Congratulations to Caoilinn Geraghty-McDonnell (P6) who competed in the IODAI Irish Open and National Optimist Championships. She won the Junior National Optimist Championships and placed seventh overall beating all juniors and all bar six seniors, qualifying for a place on Ireland’s European Optimist Team.  There were 80 plus competitors.  She also received  2 Gold ISA medals plus  many other daily first place trophies during the event which took place  in Royal Cork Yacht Club, Crosshaven, Cork.  

Sadly Caoilinn will not be attending the European Championships this year due to travel restrictions etc but she is very pleased and proud of her achievement.
