On Thursday, 09 October 2025, a truly remarkable and unforgettable evening took place in the historic setting of St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Dublin.
Students, choirs, and musicians from St. Andrew’s College and St. Patrick’s Cathedral Choir School came together in unity to pay tribute to Group Captain John Hemingway DFC – “The Last of the Few.”
An alumnus of both schools, Group Captain Hemingway’s story is deeply rooted in Dublin’s history, a legacy of courage, service, and unbreakable spirit.
At the request of the Hemingway Family, his extraordinary life was honoured through the power of music – a lifelong source of joy to him.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone involved in creating a night to remember.
