The Minor Girls' hockey teams had a very successful challenge series away against tough opponents Kilkenny College on Wednesday 6 February 2019.  The early morning bus journey involved a sing-along session and, if nothing else, the girls' voices were warmed up upon arrival in Kilkenny.   Much to the girls’ delight, the games were to be played on grit pitches - something not seen since Ms Hollwey’s playing days apparently! Nevertheless, St Andrew’s came away with three wins and a draw having played in gorgeous sunshine all afternoon. The return trip included a much needed pit-stop in McDonalds and lots more songs.

The girls did their school and their coaches Ms. O’Shea, Laura, Emily and Lucy, proud.  Thank you Kilkenny College for inviting us!
