2019 Quiz Night

On Friday 22 March the PTA hosted a highly successful Quiz Night at the school.  It was a great social occasion where parents and teachers competed for the honour of winning the 125 Challenge Trophy.

We had a packed hall with 29 competing tables and John Kelly from RTÉ's Mystery Train as our quiz Master.

There was a special round this year on the History of the College and our esteemed adjudicators noted that practically no table got many questions right on that round!

Just so you know:-

1. St Andrew's day is the 30 November

2. The school motto is Ardens Sed Virens (Latin for Burning but Flourishing)!

We had lovely food and the raffle was a great success. The prize of the four tickets to Take That was won by Margot Brama and we hope she enjoys her night at the 3 Arena on 30 April!

The 125 challenge cup was won by the parents this year, but I am sure we'll see the teachers fight another day!

Unfortunately, due to the Coronavirus Covid-19 pandemic, the 2020 Quiz Night had to be cancelled.
