Flags for Frontline Heroes

Let's show our support!

During this Covid-19 pandemic we are all becoming more aware of the heroes that are working on the frontline to keep us safe, keep the country running and to look after those who are sick.

IPPN, INTO, NAPD, ASTI and TUI are proposing that as a show of support for those workers and volunteers on front lines at this critical time, all households who have a flag in their county or club colours, or whatever team they follow across any sport, would hang that flag from their gate posts or windows.

Let’s get involved and show our support for the frontline workers, whether they are nurses, doctors, hospital administration and porter staff, care workers, shop assistants, post and delivery men and women, ambulance drivers, bin men and women, chemists or simply members of the public who have signed up in one way or another to help others.  Every single one of them is a hero!

Even if you don’t have a flag, you can draw or paint one and hang it in your window.

Come on St Andrew’s folk, let’s do our bit and get creative with flags to colour the streets and show that we appreciate these wonderful people.

You can email a photo of your flag to this address and we will create a gallery of ‘Flags for our Heroes’ on the website.
