Congratulations for former pupil David O'Caoimh (Class of 2012) who came 5th in the Wakeboarding World Cup Pro Men Championships in Linyi, China at the weekend.   David, the current Europe Africa Wakeboard Champion, made an enormous impact on the Men's Finals, finishing with a Toe Back 9 which brought roars of approval from the fans.  This was the first time ever that David has successfully completed such a difficult manoeuvre.   David finished with a score of 85,11 in the Finals not far behind the medal winners.  Gold medal went to Harley Clifford of Australia with a score of 88,78.
